Christine D’Esposito

I first became interested in becoming a doula after attending a close friend’s birth and having first-hand experience witnessing the power and necessity of additional support through the childbearing year.  Birth and postpartum, however it unfolds, is an immense transformational experience for everyone involved.

I've had the opportunity to serve hundreds of families since 2003.  My goal as a doula and childbirth educator is to validate and celebrate each parent’s journey as I help facilitate their own self-discovery.

In addition to working with parents, I also train and mentor birth workers with Birthing from Within, where I work as the Director of Programs.  I am passionate about the intersection of birth and social justice work and aspire to be an agent of change in the world.

Outside of birth work, I love learning about and immersing myself in nature, cooking delicious food, gardening, dancing, spending time with my partner and our two dogs, and being an Auntie.
